This is what a mechanic should be. Super friendly, competent, fair on price/hours. Did a repair on super short notice and helped fix a few small/trivial issues while it was on the lift. Will definitely be going here in the future.
Had to change climate control knob, I bought the part myself and nobody in town wanted to do this job without buying from them the part. Plus, they wanted to charge me over a thousand dollars just for the job. Thankfully I met Jack in Chuck’s auto shop, really incredible service for a quarter of the price the other auto shop wanted to charge me. I would go to fix my car only over there now. This is hands down the best mechanic shop I’ve ever been to. The owner is completely up front about what he can and can’t do and what to expect, so there are no surprises. He knows his stuff, and I’ll definitely recommend him to anyone I know who needs a mechanic. I came here based on a friend’s referral because I had been getting all kinds of competing opinions about what was wrong with my car. I paid to get a full diagnostic work-up first in order to figure out exactly what exactly my car needed, and it was totally worth the money. We were able to figure out exactly what my car needed, and found things that weren’t a problem yet, but could become an issue as time went on. They helped me decide the most cost effective way to repair and maintain my car, and walked me through my options. It’s totally worth spending the money for the full diagnostic if you plan on keeping your car a while. They won’t upsell you and they’ll let you know what is a priority to repair.
Also, I highly recommend trusting them to order the parts, and spending the little bit extra to get the parts new. These guys totally stand behind their work, so it’s worth the small extra expense to get everything ordered by them in their shop. Overall, fantastic guys and a great experience. Definitely take your car here.

They replaced my hybrid battery at 1/3 the cost of the dealer's estimate ($6800). Jake and Chuck are great people, Jake is super knowledgable about hybrids and is a great resource in the region. Highly recommend. He also replaced the transmission AUX pump and the truck runs great now. Well done, thanks again!

Chuck and company were able to repair our truck in an efficient and effective manner and save us a lot of money (compared with the price another auto shop quoted us). Our Jag had the warning light come on as we drove to Bend from Sisters in the middle of a 3 week vacation. They took the car in, talked to Jag about the issue and carefully inspected the underside of the car to determine the cause and severity of the issue. Back on the road same day with commitment from jag to replace the problem part when we are back home. Great experience!
Chuck was amazing, was able to take my car in with almost no notice on a super busy/booked day and replaced the power steering unit pulley incredibly fast. Extremely knowledgeable and kind, more than fair pricing, could not recommend more!!

Awesome experience. I had an issue with my car and, although he didn't have availability to fix it, he took the time to look at it, give me an idea of what was going on, and point me to another shop that could take care of the problem with the time frame I needed. Oh, and he didn't charge me anything for it!
Chuck has worked on my cars for years. He's great and FAIR and timely.Don't expect to be coddled :) but he'll give it to you straight and get it fixed.
